The two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast received jolts at both ends Monday, March 16 and early Tuesday, March 17. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a magnitude 4.0 quake was recorded at 11:05 a.m., 135-miles southwest of Port Hardy, Canada. The second quake was recorded at 1:45 a.m., and was located 76-miles west to south west of Eureka, CA.
