A pair of earthquakes were recorded Wednesday, April 2, where two fault lines, that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, begin at Cape Mendocino in Northern California. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.5-magnitude quake occurred at 5:09 p.m., 34-miles south to southwest of Eureka, CA, and a 2.6-magnitude took place at 11:20 a.m., 27-miles south to southwest of the Humboldt Co. Seat.
