A couple of earthquakes were recorded within the Cascadia Subduction Zone off the Oregon and California Coasts Monday, Aug. 30. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the largest was a 4.4-magnitude west of Bandon on the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. The second was a 3.6-magnitude west to southwest of Petrolia, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
