A 2.5-magnitude earthquake was recorded on the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Thursday, Aug. 3. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west of Port Orford in Northern Curry Co. A second quake was also recorded a little further north on the outer fault line. The USGS says it was a 3.3-magnitude, also Thursday, but west of the Central Oregon Coast.
