Quakes, Dec. 21

A 3.9-magnitude earthquake shook the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Caost Friday, Dec. 18. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located north to northeast of Petrolia, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. On Saturday, a 3.2-magnitude quake was recorded on the outer fault line west of Ferndale, CA.
