One day after an earthquake was recorded west of Coos Co. on the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, two more quakes occurred. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.3-magnitude quake was recorded west of Bandon early Tuesday morning, Dec. 26, and another 3.3 was recorded Christmas Day west of Langlois in Northern California. At the southern end of the two fault lines, a 2.9-magnitude quake was located west of Petrolia, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
