Quakes, Dec. 29

A couple of earthquakes shook the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. The first quake occurred Monday, Dec. 28. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, it was a 5.7-magnitude quake recorded west of Bandon. Early Tuesday morning, Dec. 29, the Survey reported a 3.2-magnitude quake followed west of Langlois, in Northern Curry Co. Both were at a depth of six-miles and did not produce a tsunami wave.
