A 3.3-magnitude earthquake was recorded on the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Wednesday, Dec. 29. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quakes was located west to southwest of Pistol River in Curry Co. There were also several quakes at the southern junction. A 3.6-magnitude west of Petrolia, CA, a 2.5-magnitude west of Petrolia, CA, and a 2.6-magnitude west of Petrolia, all near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
