Quakes, Feb. 15

A couple of earthquakes were recorded Saturday within the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.2-magnitude quake was located on the outer fault line off the South Oregon Coast. A second quake, 2.9-magnitude was also recorded at the Southern Junction, west to southwest of Petrolia, CA, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
