A couple of earthquakes were recorded near the southern junction of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Friday, Feb. 17. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.2-magnitude quake was located west to southwest of Petrolia, CA, and a 2.6-magnitude was just a little south of that location west of Cape Vizcaino, CA, both near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. On Saturday, a 3.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded on the outer fault line west of Bandon. On Sunday, Feb. 19, another 3.2-magnitude quake was recorded on the outer fault line west of Bandon.
