Quakes at both ends
The top and bottom ends of two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast shook early Friday morning, Nov. 8.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.7-magnitude quake was recorded at 2:46 a.m., 70-miles west to southwest of Crescent City, CA, and a 4.8-magnitude took place at 3:45 a.m., 103-miles west to southwest of Port Hardy, Canada.
