Quakes, Jan. 18

A couple of earthquakes shook the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Monday, Jan. 17. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.9-magnitude quake was recorded on the outer fault line west of Petrolia, CA, and a 2.8-magnitude was also located west of Petrolia, CA, but right at the junction near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
