Quakes, Jan. 31

A couple of earthquakes were recorded at the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Saturday, Jan. 29. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.0-magnitude quake was located southwest of Petrolia, CA and a 2.6-magnitude quake was recorded on land east of Hydesville, CA, both near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
