Two earthquakes shook the Pacific Ocean seafloor within the Cascadia Subduction Zone Monday, Jan. 8.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.1-magnitude quake was recorded west of Bandon on the outer fault line that runs parallel with the Oregon Coast, while the second quake was a also a 3.1-magnitude, but at Cape Mendocino in Northern Cal where the two fault lines begin.
