The upper end of the Cascadia Subduction Zone in the Pacific Ocean shook Friday night, Jan. 6, where two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast come together off Canada.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, one quake was a magnitude 5.7, and was located west to southwest of Port Hardy, Canada.  The second largest was a 5.1-magnitdue, followed by a 4.6, and a 4.3, all in the same area.
