According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a couple of quakes struck near the north and south ends Wednesday, July 29 of two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. A 4.8-magnitude quake was redorded at 5:31 p.m. and was located 114-miles west of Port Hardy, Canada. A 3.2-magnitude quake occurred at 4:07 p.m., and was located 12-miles east of San Jose, CA. And, the Warner Mtns. of South Central Oregon, near Lakeview, continues to rumble with a 3.0-magnitude quake at 9:52 a.m., 41-miles east to southeast of Lakeview.
