Quakes, June 14

Another couple of quakes rumbled the Pacific Ocean sea floor within the Cascadia Subduction Zone off the South Oregon Coast Friday, June 11. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 2.9-magnitude quake was located west of Gold Beach and at a depth of six-miles. On Monday, June 14, a 2.7-magnitude quake was recorded in the same area west of Gold Beach.
