A 3.3-magnitude earthquake was recorded near Cape Mendocino in Northern California Friday, June 16. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located southwest of Ferndale, CA where two fault lines begin that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. A 2.6-magnitude quake also occurred in the same area Thursday, June 15, southeast of Willow Ck., CA.
