Quakes, June 4

A 2.8-magnitude earthquake shook the southern junction where two fault lines begin in Northern California early Monday morning, June 4, and then run parallel with the Oregon Coast.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west of Ferndale, CA near Cape Mendocino.  A second quake was also recorded early Monday morning on land, just east of Cape Mendocino.
