Several earthquakes shook the Cascadia Subduction Zone off the Oregon Coast beginning Friday, June 4. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.7-magnitude quake was recorded west of Gold Beach, followed by 3.0 and a 3.1-magnitude quakes. A little further south, a 3.0-magnitude quake was also recorded west of Ferndale, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. On Saturday, a 3.1-magnitude quake was recorded on the outer fault line west of the South/Central Coast of Oregon. Two more quakes were recorded between the two fault lines. A 2.8-magnitude and 2.9, both west of Gold Beach. On Sunday, a 2.9-magnitude quake followed west of Gold Beach.
