The southern hinge of two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast through the Cascadia Subduction Zone continues to rumble at Cape Mendocino in Northern California.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, two more quakes shook the area Thursday and Friday mornings, March 20 & 21.  One was a 2.9-magnitude quake that occurred at 3:58 a.m., 47-miles southwest of Eureka, CA.  The second was a 2.8-magnitude at 11:41 a.m., Thursday, March 20.  It was 370miles south to southwest of the Humboldt Co. Seat.
