Some earthquake activity hit the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Tuesday, March 22. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the largest, a 4.5-magnitude, was right at the junction, west to southwest of Ferndale, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. A second quake, 3.3-magnitude, was located west of Coos County on the outer fault line, six-miles deep.
