A 2.7-magnitude earthquake shook the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Friday, May 14. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located north to northeast of Humboldt Hill, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. On Sunday, a 4.1-magnitude quake was recorded west to Northwest of Port Orford on the outer fault line. A 2.9-magnitude quake was also recorded Sunday west of Redway, CA, and a 3.1-magnitude quake shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California Sunday west of Petrolia, CA
