Lots of quakes inside the Cascadia Subduction Zone early Tuesday morning, May 19. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, five quakes were recorded. The closest to the Oregon border was a 3.1-magnitude west of Brookings, Oregon near the inner fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. A 4.4-magnitude quake was located west of Ferndale, CA. The second in two days. Three other smaller quakes were near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. They were 2.6 west to northwest of Petolia, CA, 2.6 east of Petolia, CA, and 2.7 east to northeast of Redway, CA.
