Quakes, Nov. 1

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake shook the northern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast early Thursday morning, Nov. 1.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located southwest of Port Hardy, Canada.  A smaller quake was recorded at the southern end as well Wednesday night, Oct. 31.  The quake was west of Petrolia, CA near Cape Mendocino.
