Several isolated earthquakes were recorded in the Western United States Thursday, Nov. 12. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, one of the quakes occurred where two fault lines begin in Northern California that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. The quake was a magnitude 2.9 recorded at 9:29 p.m. and was located 39-miles south to southwest of Eureka, CA. Other quakes were located east of Cape Mendocino at Greenville, CA (3.0); Lakeview, OR (2.8); Felida, WA (2.8); and, Darrington, WA (2.6).
