Several earthquakes shook the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Friday, Nov. 10th, and another was recorded just inside the inner fault line off the Central Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.1-magnitude quake was located just west of Lincoln Co., while in Northern California a 4.1-magnitude was located west to northwest of Petrolia, CA near Cape Mendocino. It was followed by a 2.9-magnitude and a 2.8. On Saturday, a 2.8-magnitude was recorded west to northwest of Petrolia, CA. On Sunday, a 3.9-magnitude quake was recorded west to southwest of Pistol River, in Curry Co., between the two fault lines.
