A whole lot of shaking near the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.0-magnitude quake was recorded west of Ferndale, CA Wednesday. A 2.6-magnitude quake was recorded that same day a little closer, west of Petrolia, CA, and a 2.7-magnitude was recorded Thursday, Nov. 24, southeast of Petrolia, all near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
