A couple of earthquakes shook the inner fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, Saturday, Nov. 27. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.5-magnitude quake was located west of Trinidad, CA, and the day before a 4.1-magnitude quake was recorded in the same area near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. Also on Saturday, a 3.0-magnitude quake was recorded west of Ferndale, CA, on the outer fault line near the southern junction. On Sunday, a 2.7-magnitue quake was recorded west of Petrolia, CA.
