A couple of earthquakes shook the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Saturday, Nov. 7. According to the U.S Geological Survey, a 2.7-magnitude quake was recorded west of Petrolia, CA, and a 3.1-magnitude quake was recorded west of Ferndale, CA, both near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
