A series of moderate earthquakes shook the Cascadia Subduction Zone about 200-miles off the North Oregon Coast this weekend. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.9-magnitude quake occurred Sunday, Oct. 9, 7:08 p.m. (UTC). A 4.1-magnitude quake was also recorded at 6:51 p.m. (UTC), and another 4.1 at 2:19 p.m. (UTC).
