A couple of earthquakes shook the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Monday, Oct. 18. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.6-magnitude quake was located west to northwest of Petrolia, CA and a 3.2-magnitude was recorded west of Ferndale, CA, both near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
