Right on cue, a couple of earthquakes shook land near where the two fault lines begin that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Wednesday, Oct. 19. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.3-magnitude quake was recorded northeast of Redway, CA, and a 2.6-magntidue quake was recorded north to northeast of Petrolia, CA. Both were near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
