A couple of earthquakes were recorded near the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Saturday, Oct. 29. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.0-magnitude quake was located west to southwest of Petrolia, CA, and a 2.5-magnitude quake was located on land, east of Willow Ck. CA, both near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
