A couple of earthquakes shook the Pacific Ocean seafloor off the South Oregon Coast Monday, Dec. 7. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.6-magnitude quake occurred at 8:58 a.m. and was located 163-miles west of Coos Bay. The second quake was recorded at 7:08 p.m., and was 137-miles west of Oregon’s Bay Area. Both quakes were between the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast.
