Two earthquakes were recorded on or near the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast early Wednesday morning, Jan. 11. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quakes were located about 200-miles west of Coos County. One measured 4.5-magnitude and the other was a 4.8-magnitude. Both at a depth of about six-miles. There was also a quake on land in Northern California, a 3.6-magnitude east of McKinleyville, CA in Humboldt Co.
