Two earthquakes were recorded off the South Oregon Coast on or near the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.8-magnitude quake was located west to southwest of Port Orford and another 2.8-magnitude was located west of Port Orford, both in Curry County.
