A couple of earthquakes were recorded Tuesday, Sept. 29 within the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.1-magnitude quake was recorded just west of Crescent City, CA, and a second quake, 2.6-magnitude was located west of Petrolia, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
