Quakes within the Cascadia Subduction Zone, Sept. 23

A whole of rockin took place on Tuesday, Sept. 22, within the Cascadia Subduction Zone off the Oregon and Northern California coastlines. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.3-magnitude quake was recorded on the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, west to northwest of Bandon. The other three were near Cape Mendocino in Northern Cal. A 3.0-magnitude west of Trinidad, CA, a 3.0-magnitude west to northwest of Ferndale, CA, and a 2.8-magnitude west of Petrolia, CA.
