News release CCSO. On 6/14/2017 911 callers reported a suspicious person on the railroad tracks adjacent to Highway 101 near Millington. At the same time a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy was driving past the location and stopped to investigate. The Deputy discovered Jiahston Jones, age 27, standing on the railroad tracks. He was in full view of the public with his hands inside of his pants fondling himself. Mr. Jones, who was trespassing on the railroad line was contacted by the deputy. After investigation it was determined he was in violation of the above mentioned crimes. He was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail on a charge of Criminal Trespass in the First Degree and Public Indecency. He was released on his own recognizance.
