On Thursday, July 13 at 2:00 PM a ranger from Sunset Bay State Park will be at the North Bend Public Library for a children’s ranger talk. During the talk, children will learn about our closest star the sun and the upcoming October solar eclipse that will be visible in Oregon. Children will also be able to view the sun through a specially equipped telescope to see sunspots and other features. This program is part of NBPL’s Summer Reading Program.
