News release from Coos Bay PD. On Wednesday, October 14, 215, a one month investigation by the Coos Bay Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit culminated in the arrest of 30year old Coos Bay resident Zachary Ryan Hickman. The victim, now 19 years of age, disclosed Hickman engaged in sexual relations with her, beginning shortly after her 16th birthday. Hickman was arrested on charges of Rape I, Sodomy I, and Sex Abuse I without incident at and was lodged at the Coos County Jail. Hickman’s bail was listed at $1,250,000. Hickman was released on his own recognizance later the same day.
