News release CCSO. On 3/13/2017 at about 2:30 PM a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy and a Coquille Tribal Police Officer responded to a report of two suspicious vehicles parked on Coos Head Road near Charleston, Oregon. Upon arriving the officers contacted a female adult they identified as Jannelle Maree Bradford, 31 years of age of North Bend. Subsequent investigation revealed Ms. Bradford was in possession of a vehicle which had two different license plates and a different vehicle identification number which had been glued to the dash of the truck. The truck was later identified and was confirmed to have been stolen from a Charleston resident on 2/27/2017. Additionally items from a separate stolen vehicle were identified and also seized pending further investigation. Jannelle Bradford was taken into custody for an outstanding felony warrant along with possible additional charges regarding the stolen vehicle and property. She was transported to the Coos County Jail and booked on a charge of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Theft by Receiving, an outstanding felony drug warrant and a probation violation. A Coos Bay Police Officer and their narcotics trained canine “Katie” also assisted in the investigation.
