Disaster responders with the American Red Cross Cascades Region responded to a home fire disaster on August 21, 2016 at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the 60000 block of Harmony Road in Coos Bay. The fire affected two adults. The Red Cross provided resources to help address the immediate basic needs of those affected such as temporary housing, food, clothing, comfort kits, and information about recovery services.
