Disaster responders with the local American Red Cross responded to a residential fire that occurred on Sunday December 17, 2017, in the 6000 block of SW 10th Rd, Coos Bay, OR. This single-family fire affected 2 adults, 1 children and 1 pet.  The Red Cross provided resources to help address the immediate basic needs of those affected such as temporary housing, food, clothing, comfort kits with toiletry items, information about recovery services, and health and mental health services.
