Disaster responders from the American Red Cross Cascades Region are assisting residents in Klamath, Coos and Multnomah County as the result of three residential fires the evening of Dec. 30. One adult was displaced by a fire in the 1400 block of Pennsylvania in Coos Bay. The Red Cross provided lodging, clothing, shoes, seasonal clothing, food, comfort kits, and information on Disaster Health Services and Disaster Mental Health Services. Three adults and one child were affected by a fire in the 600 block of Mitchell Street in Klamath Falls. The Red Cross provided clothing, food, infant supplies and lodging. Two adults were displaced by a fire in the 4000 block of 79th Avenue in Portland. The Red Cross provided lodging.
