Redwood Hwy. Paving, June 27

U.S. 199 (Redwood Highway), MP 7.0-14.2, Applegate River Bridge to Slate Creek paving ($3.2 million). Watch for daytime work at Round Prairie Road with clearing, grubbing and subgrade construction for new right turn lane. Watch for night work for guardrail installation at various locations and curb removal in the Wonder area. Paving of U.S. 199 is scheduled to begin Monday night, June 27, and will continue throughout the week. Paving hours are 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Watch for lane closures and delays. Flaggers and pilot cars will provide traffic control. All lanes are scheduled to be open during the Independence Day weekend, July 1-4. This project will also repave Redwood Highway at night from west of Applegate River Bridge to Slate Creek and replace several culverts across the highway.
