Starting on Thursday, August 1 City of North Bend Staff will be milling (grinding out) the center panel of Everett St. from the south side of 14th St. through the intersection of 13th St. to repair a settled sewer patch. Knife River Materials will follow on Friday, August 2nd to remove the milled materials and pave back the center 12 feet of this roadway. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes to avoid delays if possible, however through traffic on 14th and 13th will be allowed with some minor delays. Emergency access will be allowed throughout. Residents of Everett St. are requested to park off street, or on adjoining streets wherever possible to avoid any delay in access, and potential damage to motor vehicles due to the construction. Full access will be restored overnight for Thursday between 5 PM and 7 AM, and work is scheduled to be complete by 5 PM on Friday, August 2nd.
