The I-5 Oak Grove Safety Rest Area, 13 miles north of Eugene, will close for several days to allow ODOT crews to perform routine maintenance. Beginning at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013 and continuing until 8 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, both the northbound and southbound rest areas on I-5 at milepost 206 will be closed. During the closure, motorists should plan to use the Gettings Creek Safety Rest Area, 14 miles south of Eugene (milepost 178), or the Santiam River Safety Rest Area, 8 miles north of Albany (milepost 240.9).
