Roseburg Forests Products has announced it will move its corporate headquarters from Dillard in Douglas County, to Springfield in Lane County by September 2016. Company officials say the move will allow them to better recruit professionals from an urban area, and have better access to a regional airport. The move will mostly impact corporate level departments involving finance and sales. In Coos County, RFP has a softwood mill in Coquille and a softwood chip export terminal on the North Spit of Coos Bay. Other operations are located in California, Montana, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Georgia.
